1994 Ford Lightning
Conceptualized and developed by Ford truck engineers as the ultimate sport truck,
the earliest versions of Lightning were designed to compete against the Chevy
454SS and most sports cars of its day. The driving enjoyment offered is comparable
to the performance of the Mustang or Camaro with all the utility of an F150. In
its attempt to provide a much more high energy setup than there is in a truck,
the engine includes a GT40 tubular intake system and iron GT40 heads, as well
as a custom grind on the camshaft, hypereutectic pistons, 65mm throttle body and
more.

The fuel system consists of a Speed Density setup with batch fire and 19lb injectors
consist its fuel system. The exterior treatment is aggressive and well-integrated
with SVT Cobra style driving lights, as well as rocker and rear panel treatment,
with side-exit dual exhaust. Other features of the Lightning include: Supplemental
Restraint System: Driver-Side (Airbag) XLT Trim, Premium Bucket Seats with Power
Lumbar Support and Center Floor Console.
